Bihar Stet Exam Latest News
The process of application for Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2024 conducted by Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) is over. Many important changes have been made for this examination to be held between March 1 and March 20, 2024.
Some important rules related to Bihar STET 2024:
Bihar Stet Application:
This time the online application process was completely conducted through online medium.
Now physical applications will not be accepted.
Bihar Stet Eligibility:
Only candidates with B.Ed or B.Ed equivalent degree can apply for the examination.
The minimum age for the candidates has been fixed at 21 years and maximum age is 35 years.
There is a provision for age relaxation for SC/ST, EWS and Disabled candidates.
Bihar Stet Examination:
The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
The examination will have two papers – Paper I (Primary) and Paper II (Upper Primary).
Each paper will be of 150 marks and its duration will be two and a half hours (2.5 hours).
It is mandatory for the candidates to pass both the papers.
Bihar Stet Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination.
Candidates will be called for appointment on the basis of merit list.
Bihar Stet Important changes:
This time the examination will not be conducted in two phases, but in a single phase.
Now candidates will not be given the option to give choice of examination centres.
Candidates who qualify the exam will get a validity period of up to seven years.
