Ctet July Exam New Rules
There are going to be some important changes in 2025 for the candidates applying for CTET. CBSE and NCTE have issued new rules which are important regarding CTET exam.
Changes in Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
Now the CTET exam will be in one paper which will have questions from the subjects Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Science.
30 marks have been prescribed for each subject, making a total paper of 150 marks.
The duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
Now candidates will not have the option of third language other than Hindi and English.
Other important changes:
From now on, there will be no minimum marks required to pass CTET.
Candidates have to score in any subject of their choice.
The validity of CTET score has been extended to 7 years.
Candidates now have to apply online on the official website of CBSE.
Impact of these changes:
The new paper pattern and syllabus may cause some difficulties in preparing for the exam.
Some candidates may be disadvantaged by the absence of a third language option.
