How to apply? (Application Process)
The application process for Anganwadi recruitment can be offline or online according to the state:
- Offline Process: Many states still follow the traditional offline application process. The candidate has to get the application form from the Women and Child Development Office of his respective district or development block and fill it. The application form has to be submitted along with self-attested copies of all the required documents.
- Online Process: Some states are now recruiting through digital medium. For this, you have to go to the official website of the Women and Child Development Department of the respective state and fill the application form. Also, the required documents have to be scanned and uploaded. If application fee is applicable, then it also has to be paid online.

- Residence: The candidate must reside in the same Panchayat/Ward where the post is vacant.

- Anganwadi Worker: ₹7,700 – ₹12,000 (starting), up to ₹24,200 after 1 year
- Mini Anganwadi Worker: Up to ₹5,700 per month
- Anganwadi Sahayika: ₹4,100 – ₹6,000 (starting), up to ₹12,500 after 1 year
- Supervisor Post: ₹12,000 – ₹18,000
Apart from this, performance based incentives and other allowances may also be given.
