How to apply for CTET 2025?
If you are dreaming of becoming a teacher in government schools, then CTET July 2025 exam is a great opportunity for you. This exam is conducted by CBSE and is especially important for those candidates who want to become teachers in Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Navodaya Vidyalaya (NVS) or other central schools. Many state governments also give preference to CTET scores in teacher recruitment.
The application process for CTET July 2025 will be completely online. Interested candidates follow the following steps:
- Visit the website: First of all go to ctet.nic.in.
- Click on Apply Online: Find the “Apply Online” link on the homepage and click on it.
- Register New: Candidates applying for the first time have to register by filling their basic information like name, date of birth, email, mobile number etc.
- Get login details: After registration you will get a user ID and password which will be used in future.
- Fill the application form: Login and fill all the required details carefully, like educational details, select exam centre, etc.
- Upload documents: Upload scanned passport size photo and signature.
- Submit and print application: After all the steps, submit the application and keep the print out safe for future reference.

If you are dreaming of becoming a teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya or any government school, then this is the right time to start preparing for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July session. It is possible to get success in this exam with hard work in the right direction, planned strategy and regular practice.
- Get complete information about the exam pattern and syllabus: Before starting the preparation, it is necessary that you understand the exam structure and syllabus of CTET well. There are two papers in this exam – the first for primary class (class 1-5) and the second for upper primary class (class 6-8). There is a difference in the topics and question format of both the papers, so study the syllabus in depth.

Language I is the one you are more comfortable with (like Hindi or English), while Language II is any other language. - Practice old question papers: Solving previous years’ question papers not only gives you an understanding of the pattern of the exam, but also lets you know which topics to focus on more. Analyse your mistakes and work towards improvement.
- Make mock tests a habit: Taking a mock test every week will give a new direction to your preparation. This will improve your speed and accuracy. Analyze it after the test and work on the areas that are weak.
- Make short notes and keep revising: Make short notes of important points of each topic. These notes will prove to be very useful for revision at the last moment. Do not forget to revise the old notes once a week.
- Take advantage of digital resources: Nowadays there is a lot of quality content available on the internet for CTET preparation. You can get video lectures, mock tests, quizzes and PDF material from YouTube channels, apps and websites. But choose only reliable sources.
- Take care of mental and physical health: Along with hard study, mental and physical health is also important. Get adequate sleep, take a balanced diet and do some exercise. To avoid stress, take breaks and indulge in favorite activities.
