The application process for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2025 is going to start soon. This exam is a golden opportunity for those candidates who are preparing to become teachers in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas and other central government schools. CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) is a national level exam conducted twice a year by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). This exam is held at two levels:
- Primary level (class 1-5)

CTET July 2025 Application Process

- Visit the official website: First of all go to ctet.nic.in.
- Click on the online application link: Find the link named “Apply for CTET July 2025” on the homepage and click on it.
- Register New: New candidates have to fill in the name, date of birth, email, mobile number etc. by clicking on “New Registration”. After registration, you will get a registration number and password.
- Fill the application form: After logging in, fill in educational qualification, personal information etc.
- Upload documents: Upload your passport size photo and signature. These files should be as per the prescribed standards.
- Pay exam fee: The fee can be deposited online through debit card, credit card or net banking. This fee depends on the category of the candidate.
- Submit and print the application: After reviewing all the information, submit the form and keep its print out with you.
How to Prepare for CTET
CTET is not just an exam, but the first step towards your dream of becoming a teacher. It can be passed easily by preparing in the right direction. Below are some useful preparation tips:
- Focus on NCERT books: Read NCERT books from class 1 to 8 (especially Maths, Science, EVS and Social Science) thoroughly as most of the questions come from them.
- Child Development and Pedagogy (CDP): Choose a reliable book for the CDP section. Look at previous exam papers to get an idea of the important topics.
- Prepare for languages: Read grammar, comprehension and teaching methods thoroughly for both Hindi and English. Also pay special attention to language pedagogy.
- Solve previous exam papers: Solve question papers of at least 5-7 years. This will give you an understanding of the exam pattern, nature of questions and important topics.
- Make a study plan: Set separate time for each subject. Give more time to weak subjects and study by setting small goals.
- Do regular revision: Repeat the things you have learned from time to time. Revision strengthens memory.
- Do not forget to take breaks: Avoid continuous study. Take a break of 10-15 minutes after every hour so that you remain fresh.
