HTET Application Process
The official dates for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2025 are likely to be announced soon. This exam is conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education (BSEH), and this exam is mandatory for those candidates who dream of becoming teachers in government schools of the state.
Looking at the trend of previous years, this exam is usually conducted in the month of November or December. Three levels of HTET exam
HTET (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test) is conducted at three different levels, which are as follows:
- PRT (Primary Teacher): For classes 1 to 5
- TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher): For classes 6 to 8
- PGT (Post Graduate Teacher): For classes 9 to 12
Candidates who qualify this exam can apply for teacher posts in both government and private schools.

- For the post of PGT, the candidate must have a Masters Degree + B.Ed. or equivalent degree.
- For TGT, a Bachelor’s degree + Diploma/Degree in Education is required.
- Permanent residents of Haryana and in some special cases, candidates from outside the state may also be considered eligible.
Dress Code and Exam Instructions
- A strict dress code applies for the HTET exam. For entry to the exam center:
- Colored admit card
- Color photo uploaded at the time of registration
It is mandatory to bring along. Also, some electronic items or other material are not allowed to be carried to the exam center.
